Latisha Newman

Latisha Newman is an accomplished finance and human resources professional currently serving as the Executive Director of Budget, Financial Analysis, and Human Resources at Northern Illinois University since November 2019. In this role, Latisha provides comprehensive direction for the division's financial and human resource functions while overseeing the fiscal management of multiple departments within Student Affairs. Previously, Latisha held the position of Assistant Director for Business Operations at the Holmes Student Center, where responsibilities included managing accounting and business operations and performing budget analysis. Additionally, Latisha served as Treasurer for New Hope Missionary Baptist Church from January 2018 to December 2023 and as Chief Financial Officer at Wpw Broadcasting Inc, overseeing financial strategies from April 2007 to October 2020. Latisha's early career included positions as Senior Accountant and Staff Accountant at Wpw Broadcasting Inc. Latisha holds a Bachelor of Science in Finance and is pursuing a Master of Business Administration at Northern Illinois University, expected to graduate in May 2025.
