Amanda Blondeau

Amanda Blondeau is the Chief Strategy Officer at Northern Initiatives. Amanda has over 18 years of experience in the IT industry. Amanda has a strong background in network administration and technical support.

Blondeau started their career at Northern Initiatives in August 2002 as a Network Administrator. In this role, they developed and held training sessions for staff based on needs assessment. The training varied from overall application review for the company or specific tasks that apply to a user or task groups job functions. Amanda increased staff knowledge and alleviated unnecessary tasks by teaching shortcuts and proper procedures.

In 2005, Blondeau was promoted to Chief Strategy Officer. In this role, they are responsible for the company's overall strategy, including technology planning and execution. Amanda also provides technical assistance for Small Business Association (SBA) loan customers which includes web site development to aid small businesses in a geographically remote area reach outside markets. Additionally, they train business owners on Microsoft Office and general computing to help them run their business resourcefully.

Amanda Blondeau has a Bachelor of Science in Business Computer Information Systems from Northern Michigan University. Amanda also has certification from Coursera in Design Thinking for Business Innovation and from Edward Lowe Foundation in Economic Gardening Professional.
