Nita Eddy is an experienced medical professional with a diverse background in education and healthcare. As a Medical Assisting CTE Teacher at Inyo County Schools since August 2013, Nita has been instrumental in training future healthcare professionals at Bishop Union High School. Concurrently, Nita serves as a BLS Instructor for the American Heart Association and American Stroke Association since January 2006, contributing to lifesaving education at Northern Inyo Hospital. Additionally, Nita has held the position of Surgical Technologist at Northern Inyo Healthcare District since June 1990, showcasing a strong commitment to surgical care. Nita's academic credentials include a Health Science & Medical Technology degree from UC San Diego and an AA in Math & Science from Cerro Coso Community College, along with a high school diploma from Bishop Union High School.
