Ahmed A.raouf Mohamed

Ahmed A. Raouf Mohamed is a Network Planning Engineer at NIE Networks since February 2022, responsible for planning network reinforcements to accommodate growing electricity demand and updating technical policies in collaboration with the Energy Networks Association. Previously, from January 2019 to July 2022, Ahmed served as a PhD researcher at Queen's University Belfast, focusing on integrating low carbon technologies into modern networks, particularly through battery energy storage systems. During the same period, Ahmed also demonstrated electrical engineering practical equipment to support undergraduate education. Earlier experience includes roles as an Assistant Lecturer and Graduate Teaching Assistant at the Arab Academy for Science, Technology and Maritime Transport and serving as Chairman of the Egyptian Engineering Day in 2016. Ahmed holds a PhD in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Queen's University Belfast and both an MS and BS in Electrical and Control Engineering from the Arab Academy for Science, Technology and Maritime Transport.
