Kenny McAneaney

Kenny McAneaney is an experienced professional in the electrical and electronic engineering field, currently serving as the Head of Asset Systems and Data at NIE Networks since September 2015. In this role, Kenny develops and manages the annual plant maintenance program across the organization's transmission and distribution substations, ensuring budgetary compliance and the delivery of outputs. Previously, Kenny worked as a Stations Delivery Engineer at Northern Ireland Electricity, focusing on contractor and maintenance management, and held various positions at the same company, including Customer Operations Engineer and Plant and Technical Engineer, where responsibilities included fault management, network refurbishment, and testing of protection relays. Early career experience includes an engineering trainee position at J A Park Engineering and a shop assistant role at Centra. Kenny holds a Master’s degree in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from Queen's University Belfast.
