Eric Lapaugh

Eric LaPaugh is a seasoned mental health professional with extensive experience in both therapeutic and recreational settings. Currently serving as the Owner/Therapist at True North Counseling since January 2018, Eric specializes in non-traditional outdoor counseling therapy. Additional roles include Mental Health Therapist at Munson Medical Center and Crisis Counselor for Northern Lakes Community Mental Health, where crisis intervention services are provided to adults and youth. Eric previously operated a recreational guiding company and has held various positions focusing on youth counseling, case management, and crisis intervention. Educational credentials include a Master's degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Western Michigan University and a Bachelor's degree in Sociology from Central Michigan University.
