Timothy Dentry is the president and CEO of Northern Light Health.

As president and CEO Tim is responsible for leading the organization. Tim’s reassuring and person-focused leadership style has enabled him to connect with the expertise and commitment of the system’s nearly 13,000 employees as they provide integrated healthcare uniquely tailored to each patient throughout Maine. His willingness to roll up his sleeves and address challenges head-on resonates with Maine’s resilient culture.

Tim is passionate about high quality healthcare that is easily accessible for all people, without bias.

Prior to joining Northern Light Health, Tim focused on international health delivery improvement, from Addis Ababa to Abu Dhabi, with institutional backing from Yale University and Johns Hopkins Medicine. This resulted in raising the standards of healthcare for large communities. In the United States, Tim has successfully held executive positions in growing markets, new service development, quality performance improvement, and physician and health system partnerships.
