Erin Sikkema

Erin Sikkema is a seasoned accounting professional with extensive experience in financial management. Currently serving as the Manager of Accounting Services at Northern Michigan University since February 2020, Erin has also held the position of Senior Accountant for the Foundation. Prior experience includes over nine years as a Certified Public Accountant at Makela, Toutant, Hill, Nardi, & Katona, P.C., where responsibilities encompassed preparing and reviewing tax returns, compiling financial statements, and training staff. Earlier, Erin served as a Shift Supervisor at Beef-A-Roo, managing cash registers and customer service, and worked as a Faculty Assistant at Northern Michigan University, focusing on data collection and organization. Erin holds a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting & Financial Planning from Northern Michigan University, obtained in 2012.
