Stephen Rowins

Stephen Rowins is a highly experienced geoscientist with a robust academic and professional background in geological sciences. Currently serving as the Principal Generative Geoscientist at Northern Minerals since October 2024, Stephen also holds the position of Adjunct Professor and Research Associate at The John de Laeter Research Centre, Curtin University. Previous roles include General Manager of Exploration at Superior Resources Limited and Principal Geoscientist at Dacian Gold Limited, where Stephen also served as Exploration Manager. With extensive leadership experience as Director and Professor at The Centre for Exploration Targeting, and as Executive Director and Chief Geologist at the British Columbia Geological Survey, Stephen’s expertise spans various sectors in geosciences. Stephen's academic credentials include a PhD from The University of Western Australia, an MS from the University of Ottawa, and a Bachelor of Science (Honours) from Queen's University.
