Kelcie Main

Kelcie Main is a microbiologist with extensive experience in clinical laboratory settings, currently serving at Northern Nevada Health System since September 2021, conducting bacterial identification and susceptibility testing. In addition, Kelcie holds the position of Microbiology Specialist I at Saint Mary's Health Network and Medical Laboratory Scientist at Renown Health, specializing in various identification techniques including MALDI-TOF mass spectrometry and multiple microbiological tests. Previous roles include Clinical Laboratory Technologist at MD Labs, where Kelcie focused on bacterial identification and RT-PCR for SARS-CoV-2, and earlier positions at the University of Nevada, Reno, involving facility supervision and building operations. Kelcie earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Molecular Microbiology and Immunology from the University of Nevada, Reno in 2018.
