Jake Wahrer

Jake Wahrer has extensive experience in IT roles. Jake first worked as a Senior System Admin at Fast Techs from July 2004 to June 2005, where they improved network performance and implemented security measures. From April 2006 to June 2008, they served as the Director of IT at L.O. Tech, managing contract accounts and supervising employees. Jake then joined Willow Springs Center as the Director of IT/Materials Management from June 2008 to October 2016, overseeing purchasing, information systems, and backups. Since October 2016, Jake has held various positions at Northern Nevada HOPES, including Director of IT/Facilities and currently as the Vice President of Information Technology Infrastructure.

Jake Wahrer's education history began in 2002 at Feather River College, where they pursued an Associate of Arts degree in Liberal Arts. Jake studied there until 2004. Following their time at Feather River College, Jake attended the University of Nevada from 2004 to 2006. Jake obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Computer Science during their time there.
