Mary Ingvoldstad has a diverse work experience in communications, marketing, and public relations. Mary currently serves as the Director of Communications at Northern Nevada HOPES, where they previously held the position of Communications and Brand Strategist. Prior to that, they worked as a Marketing Coordinator at the same organization. Mary also had a role as a Communications Manager at Immunize Nevada.
In the past, they worked as a Community Benefit Liaison at Renown Health and held various roles in the United States Senate, including Casework Manager and Regional Representative for Senator Harry Reid. Mary gained experience in healthcare matters, press releases, social media updates, and grant work.
Mary's earlier experience includes an internship with Shelley Berkley's Senate campaign, a legislative coordinator internship at Planned Parenthood Mar Monte, and a hospitality and public relations role at the FIFA World Cup in South Africa.
Mary Ingvoldstad obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Journalism from the University of Nevada, Reno, where they studied from 2006 to 2010. In 2008, they had the opportunity to study abroad in Santiago, Chile for one semester at Universidad Andres Bello, focusing on the field of study Spanish. Mary later pursued further education and earned a Master's Degree in Public Administration and Policy from the University of Nevada, Reno, from 2015 to 2016.
