Meredith Tanzer

Meredith Tanzer is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in philanthropy, community engagement, and the arts. Currently serving as the Philanthropy & Communications Associate at Northern Nevada HOPES since August 2020, Meredith has also been a Resident Artist at Reno Art Works since July 2011. A demonstrated community builder, Meredith has effectively developed business initiatives encompassing public relations, social media, and website consultation since 2009. Previously, as Director of Community Engagement at Eddy House, notable accomplishments included transitioning the organization from a drop-in center to a 24-hour shelter addressing youth homelessness. Other experiences include management roles at the SPCA of Northern Nevada, ownership of La Bussola, and various creative and fundraising projects, showcasing a strong commitment to community service and the arts.
