Jennifer Turcotte-Russak is an experienced healthcare professional with a diverse background in education and management. Currently serving as the Director of Learner Support Services and Manager of Postgraduate Medical Education at NOSM University, Jennifer oversees several medical programs. Previous roles include Manager of Community Engagement and Health Sciences, Manager of Children's Health at CCAC LHIN, and extensive teaching positions at Confederation College and Lakehead University. With a strong foundation in nursing and public health, evidenced by a Master's degree and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Lakehead University, Jennifer has also contributed to crisis intervention training for the Thunder Bay Police Service and has held clinical and educational positions in mental health and addiction sectors.

The Northern Ontario School of Medicine (NOSM) is a joint initiative of Lakehead University in Thunder Bay and Laurentian University in Sudbury. NOSM offers a world class four-year MD program. Its unique curriculum has multiple teaching and research sites distributed across Northern Ontario, including large and small communities.
