Louise Logan

Louise Logan has extensive work experience in the medical field. Louise started their career in 2000 as an Emergency Medicine physician at Health Sciences North. In 2005, they joined the Northern Ontario School of Medicine as an Associate Professor. Throughout their tenure at the Northern Ontario School of Medicine, they held various roles including Emergency Medicine Clerkship Lead East campus and Postgraduate Education Wellness Lead Clinician. In 2016, they also took on the role of Continious Quality Improvement Medical Lead Emergency Department at Health Sciences North/Horizon Santé-Nord. Louise Logan's work experience highlights their expertise in emergency medicine and their commitment to medical education and quality improvement.

Louise Logan attended Ecole secondaire Franco-Jeunesse and Ecole secondaire Macdonald Cartier for their secondary education. Louise then pursued a Honours Bachelor of Science degree in Biology at Laurentian University/Université Laurentienne. Following that, they completed their Doctorat en médecine/Medical Doctor degree at Université de Montréal. Louise furthered their education by completing a Family Medicine Residency at the University of Ottawa, and obtained a Special Competency in Emergency Medicine (CCFP EM) from the same institution.
