Operations Director - Health Services Integration and Innovation at Northern Qld PHN

Janine Cox has a diverse work experience spanning from 2001 to 2021. Janine began their career as an IT Trainer at Drake International from 2001 to 2003. From 2004 to 2013, Janine worked in Applications Development at Barrier Reef Institute of TAFE, where they administered Microsoft Dynamics CRM and supported MS SQL Databases. Janine moved on to a role as a Business Analyst/Metrics at SafetyCulture Pty Ltd from 2013 to 2014, where they prepared metrics reports and contributed to the product blog. Janine then worked as a Sharepoint Consultant at CBC Staff Selection in early 2015. Janine later joined Community Training Australia as a Telecommunications & Projects Team Leader from 2015 to 2016, where they were involved in web application development and system administration. From 2017 to 2019, they worked as a Project Manager in Health Systems and Performance at Northern Queensland Primary Health Network. Janine then transitioned to the role of Project Manager in Primary Health Engagement & QI from 2019 to 2020. In their most recent roles at the Northern Queensland Primary Health Network, they served as Project Manager for Digital Health from 2020 to 2021, Acting Executive Director in Townsville from May to August 2021, and currently holds the position of Operations Director - Health Services Integration and Innovation.

Janine Cox completed their Bachelor of E-Health (Health Informatics) (Professional Honours) from the University of Tasmania between 2018 and 2021. Prior to that, between 1989 and 1995, they pursued a Bachelor of Information Technology from the University of Southern Queensland, focusing on Commercial Computing. In 2014, they took short courses in Project Management Professional and Agile Project Management from ITMasters. Additionally, Janine has obtained certifications in Human-Centred Design from Meld Studios in February 2023, Lean Six Sigma Green Belt Certification from Leading Edge & AHHA in March 2019, and Agile Project Management - Foundation & Practitioner from APMG International in September 2015.
