Abby Walters

Abby Walters is a Mental Health Clinician at Northern Rivers Family of Services since October 2022, bringing extensive experience in mental health and counseling. Previously, Abby contributed as an Administrative Support Specialist in the Float Pool at Albany Medical Center from December 2019 to October 2022, demonstrating the ability to maintain a calm and supportive attitude in fast-paced environments. As a Counseling Intern at New Paradigm from May 2021 to May 2022, Abby administered individual and group counseling sessions for individuals with sexually related issues mandated by probation or parole. Additional roles included Child Care Specialist at St. Catherine's Center for Children, Addiction Recovery Information Associate at St. Peter's Health Partners, and a Customer Service Associate at Hannaford Supermarkets. Abby's academic background includes a Master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling from Russell Sage College (2019-2022) and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Le Moyne College (2013-2017).
