Paul Klein

Paul Klein is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in financial services and community involvement. As President of Financial Strategies Group since March 1979, Paul has led the independent firm in assisting individuals, families, and small business owners in achieving their financial goals. In addition to financial expertise, Paul has demonstrated musical talent as the bassist for 1st Things 1st, a premier band in the Twin Cities. Paul has also contributed as a volunteer for the Northern Star Council, BSA, serving as Dean of the Doctoral Studies program and previously as Chancellor from 2005 to 2008. Paul's leadership experience extends to serving as Treasurer for the Izaak Walton League of America and President of the St. Luke Lutheran Foundation from 2005 to 2008. Paul holds a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from the University of Minnesota Duluth, earned between 1974 and 1978.

Northern Star Scouting, BSA

Northern Star Council, headquartered in the Twin Cities of Minneapolis/St. Paul, serves more than 32,000 young people in 21 counties across central Minnesota and four counties in western Wisconsin. More than 21,000 additional youth participants were served at Base Camp and other properties. The council is among the five largest in the United States and is led by over 21,000 volunteers. More than 1,100 community organizations, representing educational, religious, non-profit, civic, and business organizations join in partnership with Northern Star Council by chartering 1,417 Scouting units (packs, troops, teams, crews, posts and groups). The Northern Star Council was created through the merger of the former Viking (Minneapolis) and Indianhead (St. Paul) Councils on July 1, 2005.
