Rebecca Meger is a dedicated professional with extensive experience in outdoor education and youth development through various roles in scouting programs. Currently serving as Camp Staff at Northern Star Scouting since June 2019, Rebecca has held multiple leadership positions, including Camp Director and Program Director at Tomahawk Scout Camp and Phillippo Scout Camp. Responsibilities included managing large teams, organizing activities for youth, and ensuring health and safety protocols. In addition to outdoor programs, Rebecca has experience in media and communication as a Media Intern for the Minnesota FFA Association. Rebecca is pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Agricultural Education at the University of Minnesota, building on a strong foundational background from New Prague Senior High School.

Northern Star Council, headquartered in the Twin Cities of Minneapolis/St. Paul, serves more than 32,000 young people in 21 counties across central Minnesota and four counties in western Wisconsin. More than 21,000 additional youth participants were served at Base Camp and other properties. The council is among the five largest in the United States and is led by over 21,000 volunteers. More than 1,100 community organizations, representing educational, religious, non-profit, civic, and business organizations join in partnership with Northern Star Council by chartering 1,417 Scouting units (packs, troops, teams, crews, posts and groups). The Northern Star Council was created through the merger of the former Viking (Minneapolis) and Indianhead (St. Paul) Councils on July 1, 2005.
