Tim Jopek is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in appeals resolution and customer service. Currently serving as a Senior Appeals Representative at Optum since May 2016, Tim has a background that includes roles as an Appeals Resolution Specialist and Patient Care Advocate at Express Scripts. Tim has demonstrated a commitment to community service as a Scout Volunteer with the Northern Star Council since 2000. Previous positions include Service Delivery Manager at CompuCom and Territory Manager at NCR, where noteworthy achievements include high customer satisfaction and impressive response and resolution metrics. Tim's early career included roles in service management and logistics, along with an acting stint at Luminous Theater. Tim holds two Bachelor of Arts degrees in Communication and Theater Arts from the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire and the University of Wisconsin.

Northern Star Council, headquartered in the Twin Cities of Minneapolis/St. Paul, serves more than 32,000 young people in 21 counties across central Minnesota and four counties in western Wisconsin. More than 21,000 additional youth participants were served at Base Camp and other properties. The council is among the five largest in the United States and is led by over 21,000 volunteers. More than 1,100 community organizations, representing educational, religious, non-profit, civic, and business organizations join in partnership with Northern Star Council by chartering 1,417 Scouting units (packs, troops, teams, crews, posts and groups). The Northern Star Council was created through the merger of the former Viking (Minneapolis) and Indianhead (St. Paul) Councils on July 1, 2005.
