Lead Project Metallurgist at Northern Star

Cameron Harding has a diverse professional background starting from 2007. Cameron began their career at Coles, where they worked as a Fresh Produce Team Member for over five years. During this time, they demonstrated strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills and received several awards for customer service.

In 2012, Cameron gained experience in the mining industry through vacation positions at Nagrom the Mineral Processor and Norton Gold Fields Limited. Cameron participated in various processing operations and laboratory test work, contributing to their understanding of mine site operations.

Following their mining experience, Cameron worked as a Library Assistant at Curtin University, assisting with clerical duties and customer service. In 2013, they joined Territory Resources as a Vacation Student, gaining valuable knowledge of site and processing operations and performing equipment maintenance tasks.

In 2014, Cameron took on a role as a Laboratory Technician and Pilot Plant Operator at SGS before transitioning to First Choice Liquor as a Sales Assistant.

Since 2015, Cameron has been part of the Northern Star Resources Limited team, where they have progressed through various roles. Cameron started as a Laboratory Technician and gradually moved into positions such as Graduate Metallurgist, Plant Metallurgist, and Senior Project Metallurgist. Cameron'sresponsibilities included daily plant performance monitoring, metallurgical accounting, and the development and implementation of improvement projects. Currently, Cameron holds the role of Lead Project Metallurgist, utilizing their expertise in metallurgy and project management.

Overall, Cameron's work experience showcases their adaptability, technical skills, and dedication to their field of expertise in metallurgy and mining operations.

Cameron Harding completed their education at Curtin University. Cameron obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) in Extractive Metallurgy from 2011 to 2014. Later, they pursued a Graduate Diploma (GD-MINX) in Mineral Exploration Geoscience from 2018 to 2019.

In addition to their formal education, Cameron also obtained several certifications. Cameron received a Study Processes for Resource Projects certification from AusIMM in June 2023 and a Professional Certificate in ESG and Social Responsibility from AusIMM in April 2022. Cameron also obtained certifications in First Aid (Senior First Aid) from St John Ambulance (WA) in April 2018, Underground Search and Rescue (BG4) from RECEO in September 2017, and Investigate WHS Incidents (ICAM Investigation Training) from Trainwest in June 2017. Other certifications include Fixed Gauge Radiation Officer from SGS in October 2016, Conduct Wheel Loader Operations from Perth Training Centre in August 2016, Conduct Civil Construction Skid Steer Loader Operations from Perth Training Centre in June 2016, and Advanced Excel Training from Mobile Mouse in February 2016. Cameron also completed certifications in Enter and Work in Confined Spaces and Work Safely at Heights from AMCT (Association Mentoring, Coaching & Training) in April 2015. Additionally, they obtained an Approved Managers certification from The Government of Western Australia in November 2014 and a Forklift License from WorkSafe in November 2014.
