Brian Haglund

Vice President Of Operations - North America at Northern Technologies International

Brian Haglund has extensive work experience in various roles and industries. Brian started their career as a Summer Intern at Penske Logistics in 2006. Brian then joined Cessna Aircraft Company as a Buyer through the Textron Leadership Program in 2007. Brian also had roles in Textron as a Strategic Sourcing Analyst and in Bell Helicopter as a Supplier Development Specialist. In 2008, they participated in the Textron Leadership Program as a Materials Management Specialist at Kautex Textron.

Brian then joined E-Z-GO and held multiple roles, including Strategic Sourcing Engineer, Commodity Manager, and Joint Venture Integration Manager. Brian played a significant role in establishing key supplier partnerships and implementing a Vendor Managed Inventory system.

Brian later joined Textron Aviation as a Value Stream Manager, responsible for operations at a $50 million aerospace production facility. Brian then joined Textron Motors as a Plant Manager, leading operational and purchasing activities and achieving significant production growth.

In 2017, Brian joined Textron Specialized Vehicles as a Senior Manager, overseeing engine operations and aftermarket distribution. Brian successfully managed the engine factory and distribution facility, as well as a team of managers and employees.

Brian'smost recent position was with Northern Technologies International Corporation (NTIC) as the Director of Operations. Brian was responsible for leading all operational functions and implementing a strategy of insourcing key activities, resulting in cost savings and lead time reduction. Brian was later promoted to the position of Vice President of Operations - North America.

Throughout their career, Brian has demonstrated strong leadership skills and a focus on operational excellence, contributing to the success of various organizations.

Brian Haglund completed their Bachelor of Arts in Supply Chain Management from Michigan State University - Eli Broad College of Business from 2002 to 2006. Brian then earned an MBA in Business from Augusta State University - College of Business Administration, specializing in Business, from 2010 to 2012. In 2013 to 2015, Brian pursued further education and obtained a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) with a focus on Finance, General from Ball State University. In addition, they received certification as a Greenbelt from Textron in January 2009.
