Shaun Joyce has a diverse and extensive work experience spanning different roles and companies. Shaun began their career as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist intern at St Vincent's Hospital Melbourne in 2001. Shaun then worked as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist at MIA Victoria before joining London Bridge Hospital as Chief Nuclear Medicine Technologist and later as Deputy Imaging Services Manager. From 2009 to 2014, Shaun served as the Medical Imaging IS Team Leader at St Vincent's Hospital Melbourne. Shaun also took on a Clinical Information System Project Coordinator role during a secondment. Shaun later joined MKM Health as a Senior Consultant and Manager. Shaun then transitioned to Alcidion, where they worked as a Manager. Currently, Shaun is the Director of Solution Delivery and Technical Delivery Lead for the Core Clinical Systems Renewal Program at the Northern Territory Government, a position they have held since 2021 and 2022 respectively.
Shaun Joyce completed a Master's Degree in Information Systems at the University of Melbourne from 2014 to 2017. Prior to that, they obtained a Graduate Certificate in Information Technology from the same university, from 2012 to 2013. Shaun also holds a Bachelor of Applied Science (B.A.Sc.) in Nuclear Medical Technology/Technologist from RMIT University, earned from 1998 to 2000. Additionally, Shaun has obtained the Certified Health Informatician Australiasia certification in 2017, endorsed by the Australasian College of Health Informatics, Health Information Managers Association Australia (HIMAA), and Health Informatics Society of Australia (HISA). In 2014, Shaun received the ITIL v3 Foundation in IT Service Management certification from the British Computer Society.
