Alvin Chia

Alvin Chia serves as the Senior Vice President and Head of Digital Assets Innovation for the Asia-Pacific region at Northern Trust Corporation, focusing on market-leading innovations in digital assets. Alvin is also the Chair of the Digital Assets Working Group at the Australian Custodial Services Association, and a member of multiple committees, including the School Advisory Committee at Mayflower Primary School and the Fundraising Committee at the Singapore Book Council. Previously, Alvin held senior management roles at Bain & Company, DBS Bank, and other prestigious organizations, emphasizing innovation and digital transformation. An accomplished author, Alvin wrote "Hackathons Unboxed: A Field Guide To Ideating, Leading and Winning," and has held adjunct faculty positions at the National University of Singapore and Singapore University of Social Sciences. Alvin's academic background includes a PhD in Strategic Innovation and multiple advanced degrees in related fields.
