Nicholas Mendoza

Nicholas Mendoza is a dedicated mental health professional with extensive experience in various roles within the mental health and social work fields. Currently serving as a Mental Health Clinician at Northern Valley Indian Health since May 2023, Nicholas previously held multiple clinician positions at Butte County from August 2018 to August 2023, including roles in adult services and crisis response. Prior to that, a supervisory role at Aegis Treatment Centers involved promoting patient care, developing educational programs, and supervising counseling staff. Additional experience includes working as a Mental Health Worker at Enloe Medical Center and interning as a Social Work Intern at Esplanade House Transitional Shelter. Nicholas holds a Master's degree in Social Work and a Bachelor's degree in Social Work, both obtained from California State University, Chico. Throughout a diverse career, Nicholas has demonstrated strong leadership, case management, and patient care skills.
