Barbie Keiser

Barbie Keiser has established a diverse career in library science, knowledge management, and academia since 1987. As President of Barbie E. Keiser, Inc., Barbie focuses on enhancing information accessibility for corporate management. Current positions include Reference and Instruction Librarian at Northern Virginia Community College, Course Instructor at Library Juice Academy, and Adjunct Faculty at the University of Kentucky College of Communication and Information, where Barbie teaches courses on Competitive Intelligence and Knowledge Management. Barbie also served as a Technology Consultant for the EPA and has held adjunct faculty roles at Johns Hopkins University. Additional experience includes work on taxonomy projects and knowledge repositories for various organizations, including the U.S. Department of Commerce and NPR. Barbie holds a Master of Science in Library and Information Studies from Case Western Reserve University.
