Michelle H. Brown-Nevers is the Vice President of Enrollment Management & Student Success at Northern Virginia Community College. Michelle has been in this role since January 2019. Prior to that, they were the Associate Vice President for Student Services at Montgomery County Community College from January 2019 to December 2022. In that role, they were responsible for leading the college's student services/support functions and setting the College's Strategic Enrollment Management plan. Michelle also oversaw the development and execution of the plan, as well as monitoring and assessment to ensure the College met its enrollment and programs goals in support of the strategic plan.

Dr. Michelle H. Brown-Nevers is an alumna of Teachers College, Columbia University where they earned their Doctor of Education degree in Higher Education. Michelle also holds a Master of Education degree in Higher Education/Higher Education Administration from Teachers College, Columbia University and a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Marketing from Baruch College. Dr. Brown-Nevers began their career in education as a high school teacher and later became a school administrator. In their current role as an educational consultant, they provide advice and guidance to clients on a variety of topics related to education and leadership.
