Samara Weinstein is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in community engagement and social action. Currently serving as a Community & Volunteer Engagement Specialist at Northern Virginia Family Service since January 2022, Weinstein previously held roles such as Social Action Chair at Agudas Achim Congregation, where significant initiatives were taken to address racial justice and foster partnerships with local organizations. As PTA President for Arlington Public Schools, Weinstein successfully secured a National PTA grant aimed at enhancing family engagement in education. Earlier roles include Deputy Director at the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services and Field Executive for the Girl Scout Councils, where Weinstein excelled in program promotion and fund development. Weinstein holds a Master of Public Administration from The George Washington University and a Bachelor of Arts in American Government from the University of Hartford, complemented by studies at The Hebrew University of Jerusalem.
