Mark Johnson

Mark Johnson is a seasoned professional in biomedical research with extensive experience in pre-clinical research and safety assessment. Currently serving as Chief Scientific Officer and Vice President of Safety Assessment at Northern Biomedical Research since September 2019, Mark Johnson focuses on innovative approaches to targeted delivery of pharmaceuticals, gene, and cell therapies to address unmet medical needs. Prior to this role, Mark Johnson worked at MPI Research for nearly two decades, ascending from Senior Study Director to Senior Director of Surgery. Earlier career experiences include a Research Associate position at the University of Michigan and studying at Eastern Michigan University, where Mark Johnson earned a Master of Science in Psychology.
