Avvey Peters is an experienced leader in ecosystem strategy and communications, currently serving as Head of Ecosystem Strategy at NorthGuide since May 2022, focusing on creating value by bridging business, government, and community. Prior to this role, Avvey spent over 15 years at Communitech in various executive positions, including Chief Strategy Officer and Vice President of Partnerships, responsible for public-sector revenue generation and leading a diverse team in marketing and strategic communications. With a robust background in partnership development and brand ambassadorship within the technology sector, Avvey has also held leadership roles at the Canadian Digital Media Network and the University of Waterloo, demonstrating a strong commitment to innovation and community. Avvey's academic credentials include a Master of Journalism from Carleton University and a Bachelor of Arts in English from the University of Waterloo.
