Dustin Alden

Dustin Alden, CPA has a diverse work experience in various roles and positions. Dustin began their career with an internship/student worker position at the Minnesota Office of the State Auditor in 2004, where they gained experience in annual audits and funds analysis. Dustin then moved on to Cummings, Keegan & Co., P.L.L.P., where they worked as a senior accountant for 8 years. In this role, they were responsible for conducting audit, review, and compilation engagements for non-profit and for-profit entities, as well as preparing tax returns for individuals, partnerships, corporations, and non-profits. Additionally, they handled payroll, sales, and MN Care tax returns. Following this, Dustin joined Northland Securities, where they held various roles including senior accountant, accounting manager, controller, and currently serves as the chief financial officer.

Dustin Alden, CPA, obtained a Bachelor's degree in Accounting from Winona State University from 2002 to 2004. Prior to that, they earned an Associate of Science (AS) degree in Accounting from Rochester Community and Technical College from 1999 to 2001. In addition to their educational accomplishments, Dustin has also received certifications such as the CPA designation from the Minnesota Board of Accountancy and the Financial and Operations Principal Qualification (Series 27) from FINRA.
