Michael Smerdon

Michael Smerdon has a diverse and extensive background in finance and infrastructure management, currently serving as a Board Member at EVPassport and Provident Energy Management Inc., and an Executive Operating Partner at Northleaf Capital Partners. Previously, Michael held the position of General Manager for the Infrastructure Portfolio at Canada Post Pension Plan and served as Chair of the Board of Directors for both TruVista and Vista Services. Michael was the Chief Executive Officer of iCON Infrastructure Canada, overseeing a significant investment firm. Additional experience includes serving as Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer at Capstone Infrastructure Corporation, and as a Non-Executive Director at both Bristol Water plc and Capstone Infrastructure Corporation. Michael holds a CFA designation, an MBA from Ivey Business School, and a Bachelor of Commerce in Finance from The University of British Columbia.
