Series B Lead Investor at NorthOne

Hendrick Chan has a diverse work experience in the investment field. Hendrick started their career as a Growth Equity Investor at Generation Investment Management in 2019, where they managed a portfolio that included companies such as Asana, Toast, and Remitly. In this role, they focused on sustainability and managed over $30 billion in assets under management. Hendrick then moved on to Convoy Inc as a Series D Lead Investor, leading investment deals from November 2019 to December 2020. Hendrick also served as a Series E and F Lead Investor for Remitly, where they led a $220 million investment into the digital money-transfer platform. Hendrick achieved an impressive 8x return upon the company's IPO. Additionally, they provided portfolio coverage for Gogoro, an innovative electric scooter manufacturer. In 2021, Hendrick joined Tencent as a Global Tech Investor, and later took on the role of Series C Lead Investor for Lydia. In 2022, they became a Series B Lead Investor for NorthOne and a Series B Investor for Routable. Most recently, in 2023, they joined Qonto as an Investor.

Hendrick Chan attended Stanford University, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics with Distinction. Prior to that, they studied at Li Po Chun United World College and completed the International Baccalaureate program.
