Marko Jelavic

Marko Jelavic has an extensive work experience in various roles and industries.

Marko is currently working at NorthOne as the Chief of Staff, where they have been since December 2022. Prior to that, they held the position of Head of Finance at the same company from January 2022 to December 2022. Before that, they worked as a Chief of Staff at NorthOne from July 2021 to January 2022.

Before joining NorthOne, Marko worked at Ferst Capital Partners (FCP) as a Principal, starting in October 2019. Marko also held the position of VC Associate at FCP from April 2016 to October 2019.

Additionally, Marko has experience as an Advisor at Holt Accelerator since June 2018. Marko has also worked as a VC Advisor at Front Row Ventures since January 2018, where they are involved in investing in talented students in Canada.

Furthermore, Marko has served as an Advisory Board Member at FinFusion from June 2017 to July 2019. Marko also worked in strategic partnerships at Athlete Builder from November 2013 to an unspecified end date.

Marko's earlier experience includes working as a Consultant at OMsignal from January 2014 to May 2015, as an Associate at TandemLaunch Technologies Inc. from January 2013 to August 2013, and as a Business Development Intern at iN4P from May 2011 to September 2011.

Before beginning their professional career, Marko worked as a Sports Coordinator for the MBA Tournament atHEC Paris from September 2010 to May 2011.

Marko Jelavic earned a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from HEC Paris from 2010 to 2012. Prior to that, they attended McGill University from 2004 to 2008, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Kinesiology. Additionally, Marko has obtained certifications such as First Aid, CPR, and Automated External Defibrillator training. Marko is also a certified Personal Trainer through the Association of National Instructors in Exercise and a Physical Evaluator through the Canadian Society of Exercise Physiology (CSEP).
