Christopher Cain

Chris Cain serves as Policy Director for the Strategic Aviation Special Interest Group (SASIG) since September 2015, leading research and policy initiatives across local authority members in the aviation sector. In addition, Chris is a Director at Northpoint Aviation, providing consultancy in policy, regulation, and sustainability related to air transport. Previous roles include Principal at The Aviation Strategy and Policy Consultancy, Airport Project Director at Newquay Cornwall Airport, and Regional Airports Manager at the Department for Transport. Chris holds a BA Hons in Geography from the University of Oxford and an M Phil in Town Planning from Newcastle University, complemented by further education in Excel Modelling, Statistical Tests, Economic Appraisal, and GIS at the University of Oxford.
