Shawntia Chester, MBA, has extensive experience in accounting and healthcare management, currently serving as a Senior Accountant at NorthPoint Health & Wellness Center since October 2017, where responsibilities include liaising with county departments and external auditors on accounting issues. Concurrently, since June 2014, Shawntia has worked as a Provider Relations Network Consultant at Metropolitan Health Plan-Hennepin County, focusing on provider engagement and training. Previous roles include consulting positions at Medica, OptumHealth, and Amplifon, with expertise in clinical coding, billing, and claims examination. Shawntia holds a Master of Business Administration in Health Care Administration from Concordia University-St. Paul and a Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of Northwestern – St. Paul.

NorthPoint Health & Wellness Center is a multi-specialty medical, dental and mental health center and human service agency located in North Minneapolis. Our modern facility is handicapped accessible with ample parking, interpreter services, free transportation services for area patients and conveniently located on several bus routes It is administered through a partnership between Hennepin County and a Community Board of Directors comprising NorthPoint’s patients and people who live and/or work in the community.
