John Scattergood

John Scattergood has extensive experience as a Chief Information Officer in various companies. In their most recent role at Northpointe Bank, they are responsible for strategically planning and leading all aspects of Information Technology, including cyber security, risk management, web development, and database administration. Prior to that, they worked as a Principal at JJS CIO Advisors. At Freedom Mortgage, they served as the Chief Information Officer EVP - Mortgage Servicing, where they developed and implemented a strategic technology plan that resulted in a significant increase in the mortgage servicing business. At JPMorgan Chase & Co., they were the Managing Director Global Technology, leading a large data analytics team and successfully delivering critical mortgage technology programs. John also has experience as the Chief Administration Officer EVP at American Home Mortgage Servicing and as the Chief Information Officer SVP - Portfolio Management at Hudson Advisors L.P. John began their career as the Chief Information Officer Managing Director SVP at Bear Stearns & Co., where they directed the front-end mortgage technology strategy and operations.

John Scattergood earned a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Economics from the University of Minnesota, attending from 1978 to 1982. John has also obtained several certifications from LinkedIn, including "Cert Prep: ITIL Foundations" in March 2019, "Implementing Your IT Strategy" and "Marketing Foundations: Social Media" in October 2018, and various other certifications in subjects such as artificial intelligence, cloud architecture, devops, digital transformation, innovation, cloud computing, microservices, and blockchain basics, all obtained in 2018.
