Angel Ilarraza Ph.D.

Angel Ilarraza Ph.D. has a diverse work experience in the field of consulting and policy analysis. Angel is currently working as an Independent Consultant at Ilarraza Consulting since March 2017. Before that, they served as the Director of Consulting and Business Development at Northpointe, Inc. from May 2012. Prior to that, they worked as a Senior Policy Analyst at The Council of State Governments Justice Center from 2011 to 2012. Angel also has experience as a Reentry Initiative Coordinator at Tarrant County from 2008 to 2011.

Angel Ilarraza Ph.D. received their B.A. degree in Sociology/Outdoor Education from Northland College in 1987. Angel then pursued further education and obtained an M.A. degree in Social Change & Urban Development from Kansas State University from 1987 to 1989. Following this, they attended Bowling Green State University from 1989 to 1995 and earned their Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Criminology with a specialization in Juvenile Delinquency.
