Kevin Skarnulis

Team Lead, Software Quality Assurance at Northpointe, Inc.

Kevin Skarnulis has a diverse work experience spanning over the years. Kevin started their career at Lansing Eastern High School as a Teacher from August 2001 to June 2004. From there, they joined Cintas as a Customer Service Sales Representative, where they managed and grew over 100 customer accounts, providing outstanding customer care and exceeding expectations.

In 2005, Kevin took on the role of Teacher at Northport Public School until August 2013, where they focused on educating students. During this time, they also served as Business Manager at Dr. Lauren Skarnulis O.D.

In 2014, Kevin worked at Northwestern Michigan College as a Resource Development staff member, responsible for supporting the college's development initiatives. The following year, they became an Instructor at Northwestern Michigan College Extended Education and taught various courses.

Kevin joined Traverse City Technology Coach in June 2011 as a Technology Coach, utilizing a balanced, thoughtful, and deliberate approach to help clients effectively use technology to enhance their lives.

Most recently, Kevin joined Northpointe, Inc. in May 2016, initially serving as a Quality Assurance Analyst and later progressing to the role of Team Lead, Software Quality Assurance. Kevin'stenure at Northpointe, Inc. is ongoing.

Kevin Skarnulis completed their Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in English/Language Arts, history, and Teacher Education from Michigan State University from 1997 to 2001. Kevin then pursued a Master of Arts (MA) in Humanities at Central Michigan University from 2005 to 2009. In 2013 to 2016, they attended Northwestern Michigan College, where they obtained a Certification in Computer Information Technology - Developer and an Associate's degree in General Studies.

Kevin Skarnulis has also acquired several additional certifications. In 2014, they obtained the MTA: Software Development Fundamentals certification from Microsoft. The same year, they also received the MCPS: Microsoft Certified Professional certification. In 2014 and 2015, they obtained additional certifications from Microsoft, including MSOS: Microsoft Access 2013, MSOS: Microsoft Excel 2013, MTA: Networking Fundamentals, and MTA: Database Administration Fundamentals. In 2015, they obtained the CompTIA Network+ certification. In 2016, they acquired the Adobe Illustrator CC 2015 certification. Lastly, in 2019 and 2020, they obtained the Software Testing with Visual Studio and Rapid Software Testing Applied certifications, respectively. Most recently, in 2022, they obtained the Certified Tester, Foundation Level certification from ASTQB - ISTQB in the U.S. - Official Page.
