Gretchen O’Brien

Gretchen O’Brien is the CFO and VP of Operations at North Risk Partners, where they oversee Accounting and Finance, Marketing and Communications, and Acquisition integration. Gretchen also assists with overseeing operations of 26 locations throughout MN, IA, and NE. Gretchen has been with North Risk Partners for 11 years and 11 months.

Prior to their current position, Gretchen was a CPA at JMSC Futurity (formerly Dale A. Johnson LTD), a public accounting firm where they worked directly with business owners preparing tax returns, financial statements, payroll, and reviews. Gretchen also prepared individual tax returns. Gretchen was with JMSC Futurity for 7 years and 9 months.

Before that, Gretchen was a staff accountant at CLIFTON LARSON ALLEN, where they assisted with audit procedures in the construction and trucking industries. Gretchen also conducted employee benefit audits and non-profit audits during off-season. Gretchen prepared individual and small business tax returns during their time at CLIFTON LARSON ALLEN, which lasted for 5 years.

Gretchen O'Brien has a Bachelor of Applied Science (BASc) in Accounting from St. Cloud State University. Gretchen studied accounting from 1995 to 1999.
