Alan Connery

Alan Connery is a seasoned portfolio manager currently working at North Rock Capital Management, LLC since October 2023. Prior to this role, Alan served as a Senior Portfolio Manager at Insight Investment from October 2016 to September 2023, managing the Insight Absolute Return Equity Fund range. Alan's career began with AllianceBernstein in 2005 as an Equity Portfolio Manager, after starting as a mid-cap analyst focused on identifying growth companies. Alan's earlier experience includes the role of Pan-European Equity Research Analyst at Schroders, covering various sectors including telecommunications and media. Alan holds a BA in Classics from the University of Oxford, earned between 1994 and 1998, and attended Cardinal Vaughan Memorial School in West London from 1986 to 1994.
