Apsara Balamurugan

Apsara Balamurugan is a Bachelor of Engineering student in Computer Science and a Bachelor of Music student in Music Theory and Composition at Northwestern University, expected to graduate in June 2024. Currently serving as a Software Processing Intern at HawkEye 360 since June 2022, Apsara has also taken on the role of Undergraduate Teaching Assistant at Northwestern University since September 2021, where responsibilities include organizing tutorials and providing guidance to students. Previous experience includes programming roles at Conservation International focused on AI and satellite data to map coffee farms and wildlife insights, as well as a reporting and analytics internship at Northwestern University's Alumni Relations and Development department. Apsara's early career also includes internships at Massachusetts General Hospital and a camp counselor position at Mazemakers Camp.
