Christian Anderson

Christian Anderson is a Principal Spacecraft Subsystem Engineer at Northrop Grumman, contributing to the Flight Operations Team for NASA’s Chandra X-Ray Observatory, with a focus on the spacecraft’s thermal subsystem. Previously, Christian worked as an Aerospace Systems Engineer at Belcan, specializing in health monitoring for Pratt & Whitney commercial aircraft engines and developing algorithms for flight analytics. As a Graduate Aerospace Research Fellow at Worcester Polytechnic Institute, research focused on UAV simulations for aircraft contaminant plume estimation, while also serving as a Grading Assistant for various Aerospace Engineering courses. Additional experience includes roles as a Graduate Research Assistant at Worcester Polytechnic Institute, conducting structural analysis of solid rocket propellants, and internships in mechanical engineering and data analysis. Christian holds a Master of Science and a Bachelor of Science in Aerospace, Aeronautical, and Astronautical Engineering from Worcester Polytechnic Institute.
