Christopher Payne

Christopher Payne, MSPM, has extensive experience in engineering and project management, currently serving as the Director of Engineering and Site Lead at Northrop Grumman since May 2004. Responsibilities include overseeing a 60-member organization, managing personnel development, departmental budgets, and interfacing with various stakeholders to enhance collaboration and resource sharing. Christopher has held multiple leadership roles, including Program Manager and Section Manager, where duties encompassed managing substantial budgets, subcontractor engagements, and technical direction for various projects. Previous experience at BAE Systems involved maintaining and developing software for advanced radar systems. Academic qualifications include a Master’s degree in Project Management and a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
