Gary Weiss

Gary Weiss serves as the Chief Financial Officer and Treasurer at NorthShore University HealthSystem since January 2001, where responsibilities include strategic management and oversight of financial-related activities. Weiss plays a crucial role on the Executive Leadership team and reports directly to the President and CEO. As the Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of NorthShore Medical Group, Weiss facilitated significant economic growth, expanding physician membership from 400 to 1,000 through enhanced financial structures and management processes. Previous experience includes serving as Senior Vice President and Chief Accounting Officer at Bank One from 1998 to 2001 and holding various accounting and financial management roles at First Chicago Corporation from 1974 to 1998. Weiss holds a Master's degree in Management from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University and a Bachelor's degree in Accounting from Dominican University New York.
