August King is an experienced professional in political finance and event management, currently serving as the Events & Stewardship Manager at Northside Achievement Zone since December 2022. Prior roles include consulting for Martha Holton Dimick for Hennepin County Attorney and serving as Finance Director for Don Samuels for Congress. August also held the position of Deputy Finance Director for Angie Craig for Congress and was the Donor Relations & Events Manager at United Strategies, LLC. Additional experience includes roles as a Finance Associate for Mac Schneider for Congress and Press Intern at the United States Senate, along with earlier internships at Hanley Wood and RainKing Solutions. August holds a degree from Sarah Lawrence College and completed foundational education at St. Paul Academy and Summit School.
