Dawnn Henderson

Dawnn Henderson is an experienced communications professional with a strong background in health communication and marketing. Currently serving as the Communications Coordinator for Information Systems & Technology at Northside Hospital since February 2018, Dawnn develops and leads communication strategies for the information systems division, including overseeing the implementation of the Cerner electronic medical record system. Prior to this role, Dawnn held the position of Chief Writer & Web Content Coordinator at Memorial Health from 2000 to 2018, where successful advertising campaigns were developed, notably achieving significant revenue generation. Dawnn's career further includes roles as a Health Reporter and Assignment Editor at WPTZ Television and as a Reporter and Morning News Anchor at WNNE Television. Dawnn began the career at C-SPAN as a Field Technician Assistant. Dawnn holds a Bachelor's degree in Journalism, with a focus on Broadcast Journalism, from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln.
