Caroline Simpkins

Caroline Simpkins is an experienced educator with a diverse background in teaching and educational support roles within the Northside Independent School District. Currently serving as a First Grade Teacher since August 2023, Caroline develops lesson plans, tracks student data, and communicates with parents and administration to enhance student success. Previously, as a Reading/Dyslexia Specialist from 2019 to 2023, Caroline provided essential support for at-risk students and collaborated on accommodations and modifications. Caroline has also held positions as a Fourth Grade Teacher and Third Grade Teacher, demonstrating a consistent commitment to student mastery of TEKS. In addition to teaching, Caroline worked as an Online Staffing Specialist and has a solid foundation in legal processes as a former Paralegal at the U.S. Attorney's Office. Educational credentials include a Master of Arts in Education with a focus on Literacy Instruction, an Interdisciplinary Studies degree in Early Childhood Education, and a Bachelor of Science in Education with a background in Nursing.
