John Benavidez

John Benavidez, M.Ed., CTCM, RTSBA, currently serves as the Assistant Director of Purchasing for Northside ISD since August 2021. Previously, John held various positions within Boerne ISD, including Purchasing Director and Purchasing Coordinator from August 2018 to July 2021. John also gained extensive experience at Buena Vista ISD from August 2009 to July 2018, where roles included Athletic Director, Business Manager, and Teacher/Coach. Earlier in his career, John was the Director of Technology and Coach at Grandfalls Royalty ISD from August 2008 to July 2009. John earned a Master of Education in School Administration from Angelo State University in 2007 and a Bachelor's degree in Interdisciplinary Studies with a focus on Math and Science from the same institution in 2006.
