Paul Alvarez

Paul Alvarez is an experienced educator and administrator with a strong background in special education and school leadership within Northside Independent School District. Since August 2013, Paul has served as the School Principal at Lawrence Powell Elementary, previously holding roles as Vice Principal at both Dr. Joe Ward Elementary and Christian Evers Elementary School. Prior experience includes working as a Special Education Campus Coordinator and Special Education Teacher, where Paul supported students with academic and behavioral needs. Paul began a career in education following a tenure as a volunteer with VIDES+USA, assisting boys from conflict regions. Academic credentials include a Master of Education in Educational Leadership and Administration from The University of Texas at San Antonio, a Master of Education in Early Childhood Education from Our Lady of the Lake University, and a Bachelor of Social Work from the same institution.
